Day long Multi-Stakeholders Regional Convention of North Eastern States to focus on CSR participation for strengthening the Child Welfare, Child Well-being and Child Education mechanisms

A Day long Multi-Stakeholders Regional Convention of North Eastern States to focus on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) participation for strengthening the Child Welfare, Child Well-being and Child Education mechanisms organized by National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) held at Guwahati on 5th June 2017.

The event provided a suitable platform for dialogue between various sectors of the society, including the Corporate Sector, for better understanding of the development and welfare needs and requirements of the children. Also it intended to generate scope for the participants to investment in child welfare, wellbeing and education under CSR, considering the fact that companies are investing money for the welfare and development schemes under the CSR head as mandated in the Companies Act, 2013.
