North-Eastern Regional Conference on Juvenile Justice Act (JJA), 2015 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, in Imphal, Manipur

The Chairperson attended, The North-Eastern Regional Conference on Juvenile Justice Act (JJA), 2015 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, in Imphal, Manipur, on November 10 and 11, 2017.

Organised by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, in association with Manipur State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, the conference was held with an objective to discuss in details the mentioned Acts and ensure successful and effective implementation of these legislations and removal of short comings, if any, brought to light during the deliberations, by all Child rights protection agencies and Child Care Institutions and Homes.

It was also attended by the concerned officers of State Governments, other stakeholders like non-governmental organizations working in the area of child rights and members of civil society.
