Delighted to be a part of todays (24.04.2025), orientation programme on best models of foster care for Children in Need of Care and Protection in Assam organised jointly by the Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Dream India Network in collaboration with State Child Protection Society, Assam at SVD House, Azara, Guwahati.

The programme was chaired by Dr. Shyamal P. Saikia, IPS, Retd., Chairperson, ASCPCR. Among the dignitaries present in the programme were myself as the Member of ASCPCR, Fr Edward Thomas, Chairperson, Dream India Network, Dr. Saju Parackal, CEO, Dream India Network, Fr Prasad Kalaparthy, Advisor cum Consultant, Dream India Network.

The programme was attended by the officials of State Child Protection Society, Assam, Child Welfare Committees, Juvenile Justice Boards, District Child Protection Units, Child Care Institutes of Kamrup (Metropolitan) and Kamrup (Rural) and Civil Society Organisations.
