Mandates of the Commission to Monitor Implementation of Laws relating to Children-
In addition to the commission's mandate to ensure that all laws, policies, programs and administrative systems conform to the vision of the rights of the child, the Commission is also mandated to monitor and recommend measures for effective implementation of the provisions of the following laws relating to protection of children:

• Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 (U/S 109)
• Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 (U/S 44)
• The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (U/S 31)
