    Drug production, trafficking, and use continues to exacerbate instability and inequality, while causing untold harm to people's health, safety and well-being. As a responsible citizen we all should set a general reminder about the impact of drug abuse and addiction on individuals and the community. Addressing this complex problem requires the right approach by educating, providing access to treatment, and organising support groups. By coming together, we can support the people who are affected by it and Encourage a culture of understanding and compassion to create a healthier and more informed society.

    Myself as the Member of Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights along with Technical Consultant Mridusmita Dutta visited today (28th May 2025) two Rehab Centre for Drugs and Substance in Guwahati (A to Z Rehabilitation Center and Revival Wellness Society) as an integral part of Monitoring Inspection visit where a detailed discussion was held with the Proprietors, Project Co ordinators, Counsellors and Residential staff of the Rehabilitation centres to understand their functioning and treatment procedures and also on the reasons behind the daily increasing graph of Substance Abuse amidst the younger generation and also strategizing some important measures and steps that can be taken in the rehabilitation centre for the betterment of the younger generation.
