12.09.2024- On the occasion of Poshan Maah 2024, a team of Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights consisting of Dr. Shyamal Prasad Saikia, IPS (Retd.), Hon'ble Chairperson, ASCPCR, Smt. Rilanjana Talukdar, Member, ASCPCR and Nandinee Das, Technical Consultant conducted a monitoring visit to No. 03 Tenpur Anganwadi Centre, Thana Chariali Anganwadi Centre and No. 01 Town Adarsha Buniyadi Vidyalaya. The team was assisted by Ms. Neha Phukan, ACS, Asst. Commissioner, Golaghat District, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), District and Block Coordinators of POSHAN Abhiyaan, Golaghat District. The team assessed the quality of services and nutrition provided to the beneficiaries ensuring they meet the intended goals of Poshan Maah.
Observations:- No manual register maintained at all
- Poshan food packets all maintained well
- Water condition well maintained, in one class two classrooms are merged making it conjested, No track records of children in school maintained
