    District Administration Dhemaji in Association with NCPCR and ASCPCR has organized the Greivance Redressal Bench of NCPCR 2024 and today (11.06.2024), it has flagged off the event as the beginning in Dhemaji District.

    Platformed with the objective to reach out to more and more children for taking up their grievances pertaining to violation of child rights, NCPCR is organizing series of Benches/camps for taking up grievances/complaints/ pertaining to violation and deprivation of rights and entitlement of children and also to link the vulnerable families and children with Government schemes nationally. These benches shall be organised in every first village of Bordering Blocks covering Aspirational Districts of India. A total of ten such benches will be held in Assam.

    Today on 11th June 2024, the first bench was held in Jonai, dist.-Dhemaji Chaired by Dr. Shyamal Prasad Saikia, Chairperson of ASCPCR. The event was graced by other senior Officers present in the bench Shri Ankur Bharali, ACS, DC, Dhemaji, Members of ASCPCR, Shri Hitesh Roy, APS, Superintendent of Police, Dhemaji, Addl. DC & SDO Jonai etc.

    To facilitate the redressal of grievances on a large scale during the Bench, case registration booths were set up by the Police department, Health department, Child Welfare Committee, Education department and Integrated Child Development Scheme under the Women and Child Development department.
